Crime Scene Photography Course

The Department of Forensic Science is offering a week-long course in Crime Scene Photography taught by Crime Scene Investigator, Forensic Trainer and Certified Crime Scene Analyst, Stephen Stockman.

Course will meet daily, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Students will participate in lectures and practical exercises on the way to earning a certificate of completion and a digital badge.

Once registration is complete, an invoice will be emailed to the registered person and their agency contact (if applicable) with additional payment instructions. Acceptable forms of payment include credit card (preferred), check or money order payable to VCU Department of Forensic Science.

  • Use of all equipment needed (laptops, camera gear) - Trainees can also bring their own equipment to use, if preferred!

Lodging

Trainees will book their own lodging, as needed. The Department of Forensic Science has arranged government rates at two hotels close to campus that trainees may use. If using one of these locations, please state that you are with the VCU Forensic Science Department and request the state/government or special rate.
