The Financial Aid Office will work with you to find and obtain need-based aid, including grants, need-based scholarships, and student loans.
All incoming graduate students are automatically considered for Graduate Teaching Assistantships, which provide full tuition and a stipend.
The Department can assist students in obtaining part-time positions; hourly research positions are often available in Forensic Science faculty laboratories, and Forensic Science students regularly teach as adjunct faculty for undergraduate laboratory courses in Biology and Chemistry.
The Emily R. Murphy, Paul B. Ferrara and Graduate Student Professional Development Scholarships in Forensic Science are also available for graduate students to gain assistance for their studies.
Awards such as Phi Kappa Phi, Outstanding Graduate Student in Forensic Science Award, the Forensic Science Academic Achievement Awards and the Forensic Science Leadership and Service Awards are ways the university and the department acknowledge deserving students.
