B.S. in Forensic Science

Our FEPAC-accredited bachelor's degree in forensic science is a unique program that recognizes that a solid science background, followed by strengthening of that earned knowledge through hands-on experience, are the keys to a successful forensic science career. Concentrations are available in forensic biology, forensic chemistry and physical evidence.

Accelerated B.S. and M.S.

This degree program allows academically talented students to earn both the B.S. and M.S. in forensic science in a minimum of five and a half years.

Study in Our New STEM Building

The College of Humanities and Sciences opened a new, 169,000-square-foot STEM building in spring 2023 where the Department of Forensic Science has laboratory and classroom space. A crime scene classroom and laboratory and an anthropology/forensics laboratory are located on the third floor. The fifth floor houses the forensic microscopy/firearms analysis/latent prints classroom and lab.
